The Job:

  • Lead HR Policy & Compliance team to develop and implement overall strategies on HR governance and processes improvement in the Housing Society.
  • Draft new or update existing employment related policies, guidelines and procedures to ensure they are abided by related legislations in order to uphold HR governance while balancing operational efficiency.
  • Lead HR process review to streamline existing workflow and implement high-performing, integrated HR best practices to achieve business objectives of the Housing Society.
  • Act as a work ethic’s expert in HR governance by promoting the best practices within the Housing Society, providing advice on related matters and introducing improvement or preventive measures as appropriate.
  • Foster internal communication and work with Learning & Development team to promote awareness of HR governance within the Housing Society.  
  • Keep abreast of regulatory developments and market best practices, revise existing policies and practices and roll out appropriate initiatives accordingly.
  • Prepare reports and analysis for senior management and external regulatory bodies as appropriate.
  • Handle other HR projects as assigned.


The Person:

  • Degree holder in HR Management or related discipline.
  • Minimum 12 years’ experience in human resources management in reputable organisation, of which at least 5 years should be at managerial positions.
  • Solid experience in drafting and revising HR policies, guidelines, handbook, code of conduct and procedures etc.
  • Well-versed in HK Employment Ordinance and other employment related legislations as well as HR corporate governance best practices.
  • Analytical and meticulous with high proficiency in decision making, strategic thinking and managerial skill as well as excellent communication and influencing skill.
  • Proficiency in written English and Chinese as well as using PC applications.
