The Job

  • Provide comprehensive professional support in market research, critically examine restrictions and opportunities on land and planning issues and prudent calculations on financial commitment and results.
  • Prepare and carry out tender activities and liaise with consultants for deliverables.
  • Conduct critical analyses and prepare materials for the purpose of land premium and property valuation.
  • Research on land grant conditions and assist in negotiating for and securing land grant conditions conducive to maximizing the development potential of the Society’s development projects.
  • Co-ordinate with consultants and government departments to approvals.
  • Co-ordinate and handle sale of domestic/non domestic properties as appropriate and carry out incidental work including supervision on various consultancy services and preparation for disposal/acquisition of properties as appropriate
  • Compile cash flow forecasts and budgetary reports to facilitate financial planning of the Society.

 

The Person

  • Professional Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (General Practice Division) or of the Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors (GP Division), with 5 years’ post-qualification experience; OR
  • Degree holder in Surveying, Real Estate, Land Management, Property Management or related disciplines, with at least 8 years’ relevant experience or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years’ experience in managerial position.
  • Experience in sales and/or marketing for residential/commercial properties, land matters, financial viability analysis, valuation; experience in divestment/investment of properties, tenancy matters, property development will be a definite advantage.
  • Strategic thinking, accepting changes with good analytical, presentation, supervisory and interpersonal skills.  
  • Excellent spoken and written English and Chinese. Good spoken Putonghua is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese Word processing.
