Temporary Manager (Social & Elderly Wellness)

The Job

  • To assist DSM(SEW) to establish the operational objectives, plans and policies for the health and wellness services and related services/facilities /programmes to be provided at the healthy ageing hub in alignment with the corporate strategy
  • To formulate fitness and wellness programmes and promotion plans to foster and cultivate the healthy ageing concept for TTH tenants and hub members and the community
  • Rehabilitation Services: Provide specialized rehabilitation advice, relating to health education, individual assessments, and consultations
  • Fitness and Wellness Programme Development: Conduct strategic analysis of training requirements for members to upkeep their fitness and wellness
  • Programme Implementation: Coordinate with stakeholders to design and execute relevant programmes
  • To develop collaborative relationship with internal and external partners, local and international stakeholders, including but not limited to professional organizations, government departments, user groups and related private agencies
  • To maintain a good working relationship with all parties concerned
  • To undertake any other duties as assigned by the supervisor

 

The Person

  • Degree holder in rehabilitation science or equivalent,
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in which 3 years in community settings or recognized healthcare institutes; elderly/geriatric service experience / experience relating to chronic disease programme preferable, 
  • Previous exposure to promotion of health, well-being and public education or with healthcare background and strong connection with the relevant industries
  • Experience in self-financing services sector / organization preferrable
  • Self-motivated
  • Familiar with the practice of Ageing in Place in community
  • Strong team player and sense of teamwork
  • Competent in planning and organizing activities independently
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Good command of English and Chinese
  • Mature, service-oriented, and attentive to details
