The Job

  • Manage, coordinate, and monitor the overall service operation of senior housing under the Senior Citizen Residences Scheme (SEN).
  • Supervise the Skilled Care Services, Psycho-social team, Administration & Leasing team, Facility Management team (whichever appropriate); and directly provide professional services to tenants, residents, and service users in SEN, including but not limited to counseling and service referrals.
  • Monitor and coordinate service operation of vendor/outsourced service operators.
  • Manage financial and human resources, as well as implement promotional activities to achieve management goals and business strategies.
  • Coordinate the concierge service and provide support to professional/frontline staff to handle tenants/service users’ enquiries and complaints.
  • Plan and develop new services, and coordinate service quality monitoring of the Elderly Service Section in general.
  • Accomplish the duties assigned by Supervisors.

 

The Person

  • Degree holder in Nursing, Social Science, Social Work Studies, Counseling, or Property Management.
  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in an elderly services organization, including at least 3 years in a management position; experience in elderly or mental health services is preferred.
  • Strong connections with various service providers and stakeholders in elderly and mental health services.
  • Proficient in English, Chinese, and Putonghua.
  • Good knowledge of PC applications, including Word Processing, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Solid understanding of public affairs and community relations, with sensitivity to the external political, social, and economic environment.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills for interacting with a diverse clientele.
