The Job

  • Assist Senior Manager (SEW) and Manager (SEW) to formulate strategy for promotion of the Skilled Care Services.
  • Assist Senior Manager (SEW) and Manager (SEW) to network with community health providers, boost and maintain acquaintance and acquisition.
  • Provide professional counseling to residents and service users.
  • Participate and formulate the individual care plan of the residents.
  • Organize therapeutic groups and mass programs such as regular relatives meetings; and festive celebrations for both RCHE and DCC.
  • Assist to handle enquiries, feedbacks and manage complaints.
  • Liaise with community volunteer net-work and maintain a pool of volunteers in house.
  • Make timely referrals to community social resources whenever necessary.
  • Assist Manager (SEW) to give daily supervision and monitor the performance of social workers and program workers.
  • Assist to receive visitors both local and overseas.
  • Conduct satisfaction survey for the skilled care services.
  • Collect information and coordinate the production of publications.

 

The Person

  • Degree holder in Social Work.
  • Minimum 5 years post qualification working experience in recognized welfare organization; elderly service or mental health services preferable.
  • Current registration in Social Workers Registration Board.
  • Grade E in English Language (Syllabus B) and Chinese Language in the HKCEE or equivalent.
  • Good connection with various service providers and stakeholders in elderly/ mental health services.
  • Proficient in English, Chinese and Putonghua.
  • Good PC knowledge in Word Processing, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Good understanding of public affairs and community relations matters, sensitivity to external political, social and economic environment.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skill for interactions with diverse clientele.
  • Work experience in elderly or adults with mental health problems is preferred.
