The Job

  • Assist the contract management team to carry out pre and post contract administration functions for cost monitoring/control and in compliance with HKHS’s policies and procedures.
  • Prepare draft bidding documents for procurement of consultancies.
  • Conduct pre contract cost control particularly on preparation/technical checking of cost estimates, cost plans and cost analysis.
  • Monitor tender exercise and vet tender documents and tender reports for compliance with HKHS's requirements.
  • Monitor post contract administration including checking of payment valuation and cost estimates of variation works.
  • Conduct vetting of final accounts.
  • Assemble, collate and administer project cost data and assist preparation of annual budget.

The Person

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years post-graduation experience in quantity surveying practice, particularly tender documentation, contract management, estimation, cost planning and control, preferably with local experience in large scale residential and commercial projects.
  • Preferably with professional qualification of MHKIS (QS) or equivalent.
  • Good understanding and knowledge of pre and post contract quantity surveying professional practices.
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
  • Hands-on experience in general computer application.
  • Good understanding of current construction industry and property market.
