The Job

• Implement engagement strategies to build good rapport with a wide spectrum of stakeholders, including professional bodies, universities / schools / community partners / Government departments to facilitate effective communication;
• Drive community and youth engagement programmes, including scholarship and bursary schemes, knowledge-sharing events, exhibitions, competitions, internship and ESG programmes etc.;
• Manage the operation of the HKHS Exhibition Centre and the associated e-platforms;
• Oversee the management of sponsorship, donation and support requests from industry partners and other stakeholders;
• Identify and support speaking opportunities of senior management including preparation of speeches, presentation materials and coordination of logistical arrangements;
• Manage the design and production of communications materials including publications and videos;
• Supervise and develop subordinates.

The Person

• Degree holder in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Social Sciences or related disciplines with at least 8 years’ post-qualification relevant work experience.
• Solid experience in speechwriting for C-suite executives and managing corporate events.
• Proven track record in organising community engagement programmes and producing high-quality communication materials
• Good interpersonal skills and strong story-telling ability.
• Excellent communication in English and Chinese including Putonghua.
• Creativity in designing communication and promotional collaterals.
• Good computer literacy especially in PowerPoint, Excel and Chinese word processing.
• Knowledge in the local political environment and public affairs would be an advantage.
