The Job

  • Assist in the planning, implementing and monitoring of centre services.
  • Liaise with government, NGOs and other related community organizations for advocating of “Age-friendly Housing” in the community.
  • Search and organize information of community services / resources available to elderly people living in the community.
  • Conduct promotional activities e.g. services presentation, carnival, open days and booths.
  • Undertake any other duties as assigned by the direct supervisor deems appropriate.


The Person

  • Degree holder with registered social worker qualification or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years post qualification working experience in recognized welfare organization of elderly service with administrative and supervisory experience an advantage.
  • Preferably with community services experience and in-charge-of community health promotion, public education and publicity work projects.
  • Good connection with various service providers and stakeholders in elderly services, and others as relevant to the operation of the Center.
  • Mature, independent, good team player with supervisory skill.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English & Chinese and good command of Putonghua.
  • Knowledge of MS Windows application, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese Word Processing.
