We are in the course of expanding our retail properties into a diversified portfolio comprising community shopping malls and high street shops.  Anchored in the HKHS’s strategic focus on inter‑generational living, we are seeking passionate talents to grow with us and help shape vibrant, people‑centric destinations for the community across all age groups. 

The Job

  • Assist in planning and implementing building maintenance programs to ensure structural safety and integrity.
  • Coordinate and monitor routine repair and maintenance works for building fabric and common areas.
  • Support fault diagnosis and arrange corrective actions for building-related issues.
  • Assist in managing maintenance and repair contracts, including monitoring contractor performance.
  • Prepare cost estimates and assist in budgeting for building repair and improvement works.
  • Supervise site works to ensure compliance with safety standards, statutory requirements, and company guidelines.
  • Liaise with internal departments (e.g., Leasing, Operations) to execute alterations or modifications as required.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and statutory compliance.
  • Provide technical advice and recommendations on building repair solutions.
  • Support project handover and defect rectification for new developments.

The Person

  • Diploma or Degree in Building Studies, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 5–7 years of relevant experience in building maintenance, repair works, and project coordination.  2–3 years in a supervisory or assistant managerial role.
  • Good knowledge of building fabric maintenance, statutory requirements, and safety standards.
  • Strong coordination and contractor management skills.
  • Ability to prepare cost estimates and monitor budgets.
  • Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for liaising with internal teams and external vendors.
  • Familiarity with project handover and defect rectification processes.
  • Basic knowledge of sustainability and energy efficiency practices in building works.
