The Job

  • Screen and approve applications for Rent Assistance Scheme (RAS), Take-Over Tenancy Policy (TOV), Name Addition Policy (ADD Type 3 & 5) and Well-off Tenants Policy (WTP) in accordance with Housing Society policies, manuals, and Central Vetting Team’s (CVT) internal guidelines.
  • Support senior staff in supervising and monitoring daily operations and administration of the CVT.
  • Prepare concise daily and monthly reports, including supporting documentation, for senior management.
  • Provide guidance and closely supervise team members to ensure a smooth vetting process that meets deadlines.
  • Co-ordinate with Estate Office colleagues to follow up on RAS, TOV, ADD & WTP applications and declarations.
  • Assist in in-depth investigation of risk-based RAS / TOV / WTP cases to safeguard HKHS housing resources.
  • Conduct data matching exercises with relevant HKSAR departments as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by senior staff, including providing necessary support to the Housing Resources Management and Operations as needed.

The Person

  • Degree / Diploma Holders in Financial, Auditing or Housing Management, or equivalent qualification are preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in finance, auditing or property management is being a definite advantage.
  • Experience in vetting applications is preferred and ability to handle stress and work pressure is essential.
  • Proven experience in leading a team.
  • Strong leadership and managerial skills.
  • Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Effective supervisory skills, initiative-driven, and capable of coping with challenges.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving abilities and logical thinking.
  • Strong influencing and negotiation abilities, with clear and systematic communication in both written and spoken Cantonese and English.
  • Familiarity with public rental housing policies and regulations is preferable.
