The Job

  • Oversee the works in industry relations and professional development, including sponsorship, donations and corporate visits, etc.
  • Deliver editorial and coordination assistance to strengthen relationships with professional organizations and internal stakeholders. This includes designing and producing internal newsletters, congratulatory messages, and video scripts, all tailored to resonate with specific audiences.
  • Oversee the preparation of corporate publications, including the Sustainability Report, while collaborating with relevant internal and external parties to gather necessary data and insights.
  • Identify and explore speaking opportunities for senior management to enhance understanding and communication with professional organisations. Preparing speeches and presentation materials, and manage logistic arrangements for these occasions.
  • Ensure high standards of accuracy and adaptability in speech writing for diverse audiences, reflecting the HKHS’ objectives.
  • Offer supervision and mentorship to team members, providing guidance as needed to foster professional development within the team.

The Person

  • University graduate in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing or related disciplines will be an advantage.
  • At least 6 years’ post-qualification experience, preferably in the areas of communications, public relations, or relevant fields.
  • Speechwriting experience for senior executives and experienced in handling publications, corporate visits and video production, etc.
  • Good networking with related professional institutes, NGOs, public organisations and Government departments.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills (English and Chinese – Cantonese and Putonghua).
  • Good computer literacy especially in PowerPoint, Excel and Chinese word processing.
  • Good interpersonal, communications and presentation skills.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Capable of working independently while excelling in collaborative team environments
