The Job

• Assist in preparing the launch of clubhouse of Senior Citizen Residence Scheme, including preparing relevant service and orientation materials to residents, etc.
• Regular contacts with tenants through home visit and provide professional counseling and suggestions to tenants in elderly housing when needed.
• Make timely referrals to community service centre or related organizations for early treatment and closely liaise with NGOs for follow up.
• Organize and implement psychological and social activities, programs and groups to promote home safety, health and social care to meet with various needs of elderly tenants, including working with different collaborators in providing such activities.  
• Provide support and care services to residents and enhance engagement with residents via different means. 
• Assist in coordinating and providing clubhouse operation services with the team to provide one-stop services to residents, and communicate with different parties according to residents’ needs including property management team and support team of operator.
• Undertake any other duties as assigned by the supervisor deems appropriate.
• Provide administrative support, such as consolidating the statistics, preparing minutes and reports, maintain updated records, filing etc.

The Person

• Degree / Associate Degree holders in social work / health science.
• Minimum 3 years’ relevant working experience in elderly services.
• Strong organization, co-ordination, negotiation, problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good team player & attentive to details
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese.
• Able to work independently and initiative in working with elderly
• Good PC knowledge and typing skills in Chinese and English
