The Job

  • Manage Desktop support and operation team.
  • Manage Data Center, Desktop support, Operations and Service desk function of IT.
  • Support system Implementation, project management, audit and disaster recovery activities.
  • Improve service quality and ensure capacity is proactively managed.
  • Ensure Service Level Agreements for the enabling technologies are adequate, updated and relevant.
  • Coordinate between external IT vendors and users to ensure successful execution of services and projects.
  • Report periodically to the manager on operation, project, and budget management status.

 

The Person

  • Bachelor Degree or above in Information Technology/Computer Science or equivalent.
  • 15 years’ experience in IT industry.
  • At least 10 years of experience in managing IT infrastructure operations in Problem, Incident, Change, Configuration, Capacity and Performance and Availability management processes, devising standard operational procedures as per industry best practices, and service level delivery and management.
  • In depth knowledge of ITIL, certified and follow ITIL concept to operate DC and support team services.
  • Capable of meeting deadlines and working under pressure.
  • Proactive, highly self-motivated problem solver with strong analytics and attention to detail.
  • Good team player with excellent communication skills to serve internal and external customers, including spoken and written English and Chinese.
